Summer Celebration
FUNDING NEWS: On June 28th, CincyAfterSchool learned of 14 new 21st Century Community Learning Center grants, bringing the total Cincinnati Public School sites to 28! Congratulations to all! To read more about this great news, visit CincyAfterSchool Grows!
NATIONAL DAY OF SUMMER LEARNING: On July 9th, join a Summer Learning Session at the Melrose YMCA, Pleasant Hill or Hamilton Ave. Library, or Millvale Recreation Center. A great time for Fifth Quarter participants to show off their workbooks or get help earning a medal for summer learning! To learn more about these Summer Learning Sessions, visit Celebrate Summer Learning. Our 5th Quarter students enjoyed academic, artistic and environmental enrichment throughout the month of June. SUMMER INSTITUTE: Join us August 17th through August 28th at the Mayerson Academy, 2650 Highland Ave., for hands-on training workshops, keynote speakers and networking opportunities. Learn how to build assets, increase engaged learning at your afterschool site, create educational opportunities through art, and more! Registration and the workshop schedule will be posted early July.
