Q. How do we make our Group private?


A: When you configure your Group or edit it using the Edit Email List link in the left column of any Group page, you will see a section saying this:


Who Can be Part of Email Group? Who can send emails to this Group list or read archived emails visible on the "Email Group List" page of this website.


There are two choices. If you click the button that says All Community Members, then anyone can read them. If you click the button that says Only Group Members, you will have created a "closed list," or one that only members can view the contents of the Group, including email messages, the shared library, email archives and the Wiki.
